THIS IS CLOSED, if you still have wips that can be done before I judge thats ok to post them, I will start judging this weekend but it will take a while since I plan on writing a thing for each entry. I will keep you all updated and the raffle will be drawn when I judge

As some of you may know my beloved cat Angus died on the early morning of 12/5/16
I am still in so much shock and am unsure of how to cope, one thing I know is I want to honor his memory and so I am running this contest for art of him.

So there are a few parts to this contest and multiple prizes, you can enter as much as you like and in any way you like! You can enter in both parts if you want

SECTION 1

ART OF GUS

for this section you would be creating any kind of art of Gus, it can be whatever you like; traditional, digital, plush, sculpture, anything!
You could picture him any way you want, in real life, in his dreams, stylised, pixels, page dolls, icons, really whatever you have the time for or want to do! Down the bottom there are also some of his collars, toys, items and places he would use/be, these would be cool in the art but again not required if you don't want.

I do ask you don't have him pictured looking sad though, this doesn't mean I want cheesy grin on him just no tears or anything.

If you do create a traditional bit of art I really fall in love with I will note you and even discuss purchasing it and paying postage so I can have it in my room but I obviously can't do this for everything so I'm more thinking of 3D things or painting/drawings with effort.

SECTION 2

ALTERNATE DESIGN

(shapeshifting forms)

Here's the deal, I want to use Gus a lot more as an OC so I was thinking of giving him some alternate forms so he can be used in diffrernt ways, I want these forms to be obviously based on his deigns but also use your imagination so he can become more than just a house cat.

Here are some alternate forms I would be looking for:

~ Noodle/fat dragon> some kind of long, Oriental dragon form, I would still prefer fur covered skin and cat paws but I will leave it up to you.

~ Any other dragon> although I want a long floppy dragon I am happy to see others, I would imagine him as a big-pawed lazy kind of dragon?

~ kemomimi> (REALLY want this and there is only one so far) I would like a male humanoid version of him but please keep in mind I'm not just looking for a human with ginger tabby ears and tail stuck on it, I want something more mythical based of him so you could do multiple tails or cool fantasy looking features. He was an older cat but you can have him pictured any way/ age you like! For this one I will allow bases used but ONLY your own bases!

~ Fantasy tiger> I do not want just a normal tiger in his patter colours, Im looking for something more out there and mythical, maybe things like huge paws or a flowing mane, not normal tiger things.

~ Sphinx> I would be extra picky with this but if I found the right one I would be super happy! I would like accessories and stuff with this kind tho.

~ kind of foxy thing> I don't want a plain fox but like a slinky foxy kind of creature, pointy ears, bushy tail, conniving appearance

please remember not just a fox, like a mythical animals inspired by a fox

~fantasy furred animals> idk not everything but non-species designs similar to what I have listed is good, no need to stick to any of these things in particular, I want to see anything

KINDS OF DETAILS FOR DESIGNS

There are a few things I think would be cool in his design, you can use as many or non of these if you like, I want you to enjoy designing him other forms so just work with a design you want! I don't want to restrict you by anything as long as it is recognizable as it could be him in some way or another.

REMEMBER you don't have to stick to only these! I want there to be a nice variation within the designs so these are simply ideas!

(in no order of preference)

~ Little spots like on his nose, tongue and paws, i recon these would look cool as markings.

~ Raven kind wings any wings if you like but I do love the shiny black feathered wings, this could match his little black spots.

~ Eyes He has lovely natural eyes and I wouldn't mind keeping these or even enhancing them, hey you could even have multiple eyes XD

~ Nature both Gus and I love nature, you could have little plants growing on him, flowers, whatever. He is actually buried now under a rose bush with pansy flowers on his grave so I don't know if that gives you any ideas?

~ middle eastern/oriental kind of accessories I just love the looks of the layered fine cloths and bells or whatnot, this would be cool for his humanoid or Sphinx version

~ Steampunk I adoreee steampunk but please try and avoid the cliché top hat and a single gear or something, nor do I want it over the top robotics or such but I do love steampunk influences

~ KITTY PAWS squishy chubby kitty toe beans, I need to say no more ;u;

~ bones and animals skulls not really cliché ones and I'm sure I don't need to tell you no cat bones...

~ Fox pelt he had a fox pelt on my bed and our couch he would love to sit on, I think in a dragon design or maybe other ones a bit of fox pelt like the tail or something would be cool as part of accessories.

~ long features like whippet shapes, nice and sleek

~badass punk things pff I don't even know, tattoos, bandaids and stuff?

~ Ombre ooohhh mmmm ya know those nice blendy patterns oohh yeah.

~ little hanging gems or feathers or treasures?

~ horns? antlers?

~ lavender (colour and flower) and other dainty flowers all pretty and delicate as well as bigger things like roses

~ vintage stuff, yess anything vintagy.

~ I don't know why but I love his kind of orange with tinges of blue/aquas? its just a nice combo but don't limit yourself to just his natural colours!

PRIZES
Because I want a few different forms for him there will be a few winners. 
The cash prize is $40 to be divided between the designs I choose, this will be about 2 or 3 designs, maybe only 1, who knows. I will add more money if lots of designs interest me

when it come to colour his fur looks different in every photo but these probably represen

ONE DETAIL THAT IS VERY IMPORTANT is his markings, his fur patters are what make him my Gus and not any other cat. I ask you pay careful attention to his markings, I have a billion photos in his stash and those references so please don't just make them up.

about Gus

you can maybe add features of this in your art?

- total couch potato, he spent most of his time on the edge of this green couch, he has left a dent where he would sleep every day, he also sometimes spelt on the sheep skin on the sitting part of the couch sta.sh/2mjno2npwns?edit=1

- Gus was LOUD and proud about his voice, he was very talkative and you could say something to him and he would meow back at you

- Food was the way to his heart, food was his mind, food was his everything, here is his food bowl, i know its weird but its some antique thingo we found and it suits him. his food bowl

- he wasn't at all a playful cat but when you weren't looking int he afternoons he would go crazy for about five minutes and chase around something on the floor, we discovered his favourite toy was this little thing sta.sh/222ozt7krc28?edit=1 so we would carefully leave it in a corner for him to find and go crazy about for the few minutes his energy would last.

- he also had this couch he would sit right in the middle of and leave no room for you to sit his other couch

- Gus had a few collars in his past, one dark blue one, one green tartan one and this one his collar

- Gus would love cuddles and sitting on top of you right when it wasn't convenient.
